We talked about far more than gender. But we did talk about gender. I raised it here, bc this guy seems to have worked hard not to quote a single woman in his piece.
Again--not saying it had to be me, though Glenn and I cover the same beat and came to very different places on RU. But there are very prominent women not quoted here, and idiots who are irrelevant are.
I quite like Klein and Yglesias (I'm open to arguments why I shouldn't) but it's incredibly telling that space was found to quote them as being unwilling to comment, but not to quote any woman who had something to say. And this isn't even really their beat, either of them!
Interesting how Glenn's take on RU (which I also subscribe to) gets all the negative press. Do you experience a lot of pushback for your RU weedy analysis? Maybe your RU take is still acceptable?
Of course, because Greenwald is a RU tool.
