I was interviewed at length for this Glenn Greenwald piece. I spoke abt gender. I also compared Greenwald's skepticism of the RU story w/my increasing focus on it, w/o losing focus on civil liberties. Count how many women quoted in it.http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2018/01/glenn-greenwald-russia-investigation.html?utm_campaign=nym&utm_medium=s1&utm_source=tw …

Again--not saying it had to be me, though Glenn and I cover the same beat and came to very different places on RU. But there are very prominent women not quoted here, and idiots who are irrelevant are.

I quite like Klein and Yglesias (I'm open to arguments why I shouldn't) but it's incredibly telling that space was found to quote them as being unwilling to comment, but not to quote any woman who had something to say. And this isn't even really their beat, either of them!

would a female point of view be intellectually different on the topic? Btw heard you on Scahill's podcast. You were fantastic.

Would Susan Hennessey sounded less like an idiot in her criticism than Stewart Baker, if just as predictable? I think so.
