      I like inspirational films about journalistic victories with lasting impact. But I’d also appreciate a realistic portrayal of how we ended up in a place where reporting on the American government breaking its own laws doesn’t have consequences for the people breaking them.

      I hated how in his autobiographical novel the greatest bureaucratic genius of the last half century included maybe just one tip on how he worked (parking Terry O'Donnell outside Ford's office to gate-keep, basically).
