I hated how in his autobiographical novel the greatest bureaucratic genius of the last half century included maybe just one tip on how he worked (parking Terry O'Donnell outside Ford's office to gate-keep, basically).

Very interested to know what it said. I've been fascinated with Iran-Contra for ages and reported on it for my book. It had an extremely detrimental effect on negotiations around my dad's kidnapping and its outcome always bothered me
