Everybody who's not a felon in DC gets called every two years like clockwork. My jury had 3 lawers, 2 phds, a metro employee. Case was totally crazy. People were pretty great.
That's my impression. I was ALMOST on a jury--was first one picked and last one booted. First they booted all the PoC (GR is white enough they can accomplish that fairly easily). Then, after I said I'd listen to judge, prosecutor googled me and booted me forthwith.
