One thing that's hysterical abt the Nunes bill is that it requires DOJ to tell Congress how they give notice to defendants. Shouldn't they learn that before passing a reauthorization? Shouldn't Congress have known that since 2008?

The bill also requires FBI to tell Congress how they do back door searches. I have shown that since 2012, they've actually had LESS oversight. Shouldn't Congress know that before extending 702?
