      One other issue I haven't seen addressed. Nixon's alleged crimes were when he was POTUS Cheney's crimes w/Plame were when he was VPOTUS Trump's conspiracy actions, if any, spanned pre-and POTUS.

      IIRC Monica only came up in Jones depo as tangentially relevant to Jones. If I represent Trump, these precedents read together add up to “there’s no getting out of live testimony, but we will put hard guardrails around the topics we prep for and walk out if it gets off topic.”

      Yeah, that'd be the logical response. But I think they're far more worried abt conspiracy questions than all the focus on obstruction makes out.
