RNC was hacked too, right? Or at least attempt was made and their security was supposedly better? That came straight from Trumps mouth.
Yeah, that's my point. If Russians are doing carrot and stick, mentioning that they'd be willing to release Hillary's but would hold the Republican ones would exert two kinds of pressure.

I’ve assumed it’s likely the Russians got some emails showing Repubs plotting against him. And I don’t meanbullshit like the DNC hacked emails, but active coordination against Trump, along with plenty of disdain & mockery. And/or the Russians got evidence of Repub criminality

My hesitation in thinking Rubio and/or Graham was blackmailed is the premise that it would be necessary to get them to fold on something.

Lindsey has done a 180 on pressuing Trump on Russia.

I know. It could be pressure or intimidation. It could also be him angling for SoS or SecDef. Then if Trump is removed, he’d be there to be Pence’s VP. Not saying that would be plausible. But it seems plausible Graham would think it is.
