When someone is using Siri to dictate page content, only text and textual metadata can be voiced. In HTML, images are often paired with a machine-readable caption using an invisible "altText" attribute. Without that altText, Siri can only indicate the presence of the image. /1

This twitter feature doesn't automatically extract altText from images, it merely provides the author a description field where the altText content can be composed after the image content has been uploaded. /2pic.twitter.com/BYRq91Rs1z
