Curious where you see extreme left as a problem? The vacuum Putin is filling is one created by failed centrist ideology (Iraq War, Wall Street crash). Centrism is not going to fix that w/o an accounting.

Absolutely, they should. That doesn't mean entire professions or fields of study should be discounted in favour of unqualified podcast hosts who tell us things that are fun and easy.
