Re: FBI revealing investigation into Hillary and not Trump. One was an investigation started in response to Congressional requests. The other was a CI investigation. You really wanted FBI to scream, "Hey Vlad!?!?!?! We're in your shorts so start killing the witnesses"?

I just reread the original NYT story and the odd thing (to me) is that they denied finding evidence of a link rather than the usual "no comment on an ongoing investigation".

It was a really close hold. Not clear NYT sources would have known abt CI investigation. It wasn't briefed to Congress until after Sessions recused.
