Re: FBI revealing investigation into Hillary and not Trump. One was an investigation started in response to Congressional requests. The other was a CI investigation. You really wanted FBI to scream, "Hey Vlad!?!?!?! We're in your shorts so start killing the witnesses"?

It seems like the abboration was talking about the Clinton investigation. If the contention is that they should tell us whenever they start investigating any public figure, that is absurd and very LOL.

That's probably what should not have happened. Having to choose which investigators to disclose and which to keep secret is exactly why they probably shouldn't disclose any.

Yes, but him coming out publicly in July led to him feeling like he had to come back out just before elex to state that possibly new emails were found. It just became a bigger mess.

The aberration was the letter to Chaffetz, with a week left in the campaign, that immediately went public and caused a media frenzy over "reopening" of the FBI case about emails. That absolutely swung the campaign and contemporaneous polls show it.
