Both the 'Dossier' and 'Collusion' are shorthand (and lazy) ways of characterizing apparent long-standing criminal ties between Trump and RU. They are both too narrow and specific to really be of any use to anyone other than those opposing the investigation

I think that's right. Tho Collusion's big problem is it is tied to the dossier.

The word collusion also suggests that the relevant time window is the narrow electoral window, and the only relevant crimes are those specific to the election - ignoring money laundering, FACPA, tax evasion....

While I hear these and other criticisms, Steele’s credibility seems more important. The idea that he purposely passed on disinfo at the behest of HRC or Fusion seems far-fetched. And if he was duped by RU sources, we wouldn’t expect him to still insist that it’s 70-90% accurate.
