I *hate* self important pile-ons like that that are only a way of “haha we’re so cool” and stirring drama with someone who is either legitimately mentally unwell/high or who’s unfortunately misled into supporting the wrong people but means well/wants things to be better

It’s like I’ve been the target of a few of those in both politics and music/art communities. So I get it from both sides. Someone can be wrong and acting badly/ill or saying wrong or stupid things, BUT at a certain point piling on/baiting isn’t helping matters.

And both sides there do that and the whole “team” drama has become a massive distraction consuming way too much time and effort on nonsense. Both “teams” need to stop the tribalist self-aggrandizement
