Well with Dersh I think Epstein more likely. But I also don't rule out threats to out Lindsey as one means of keeping him in line. The closet still is very very powerful especially for older people.

It’s a shame, because to my mind Lindsey WAS the strongest protector of the Mueller investigation among elected republicans. Albeit shitty on just about everything else.

I still think it’s quite possible that Graham recognizes that Trump is uniquely susceptible to flattering and is doing so to gain access/influence.

Trump has also been doing things that Graham has long favored: hostility toward Tehran, serving Israel, confronting Putin in Ukraine, cutting corporate taxes. It really shouldn't take Tom Clancy speculation to puzzle out the praise.
