Jax the (yes, still) foster dog just discovered the second floor. He has lived with us for ~18 days.

Foster? I've never been able to give up a "foster" I had for more than 5 days. After a week in, you're in love.
We really can't take a forever dog right now. He has needed the time to chill, and will make some family an amazing pup.

Bummer. I hope you find him a place. We're lucky to live out in the woods in the middle of nowhere where we have space for the sad throwaway strays we come across. Our newest lil kitten was found abandoned in my mom's work parking lot, severely malnourished.
