Sadly, Trump is a problem that our Constitution never envisioned having to deal with.

I think having a Congress that didn't guard it's power greedily is the problem the Constitution didn't imagine.

I'm not sure there's anything we CAN do about it, short of Dems taking the House and Senate in 2018, or the GOP growing a spine unexpectedly.
-
Well, but that is a thing, right there. Also, how does that kind of supplication help us to do so? Does it help peel away moderate Republicans or depress turnout?
-
whither the GOP? they have vanished up his capacious butt. depressing.

The Dems are too busy fighting amongst themselves. Even if they win in 2018 the Dems track record doesn't bode well. For me the problem in media is the reporting on issues diverts people from the larger picture. The right knows what it wants.left is still deciding the big picture
-
We spend a LOT of time and energy calling people names but we the left have no plan to speak of. No narrative that entices people to move an agenda forward.

So here's my idea, and much of what I've written supports it. http://bit.ly/296Lv7V

I'm waiting for an FDR 'I welcome their hatred' speech from someone/anyone let us not forget that era was of an industrial economy. Working class people. (The New Democrats kicked us working class people out) Info age now. We cannot focus on economics. This battle is humanity.
-
And this article sums up the battle in my mind. Both Democrats and Republicans, plus most human beings I know think that we just have to 'tweak' the system and everything will be alright. I disagree. We are entering a totally new era.https://thebaffler.com/salvos/oculus-grift-shivani …

Too many of us are stuck in ruts, paycheck to paycheck, barely able to breath and just trying to survive. We're:https://youtu.be/GVFgEBq0EKM

Those ruts are so deep it's hard for people to see out of them, to think out of them, or to act out of them.

When Dems don’t even use their partisan leverage on continuing resolution... they will not stop fascism

Reading Alex De Tocqueville, Democracy in America. He wrote this in 1890 at 25, after watching some of his family be guillotine and a visit to America. Be inspired!
