How do you know they were asking about the email specifically and not asking questions that they already knew the answers to because they had the emails?
-
Axios: "Trump officials discovered Mueller had the emails when his prosecutors used them as the basis for questions to witnesses, the sources said"https://www.axios.com/scoop-mueller-obtains-tens-of-thousands-of-trump-transition-emails-2517994590.html?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=organic …

Yes, and not to quibble, but “when” and in what way they were used as “the basis” “when”, is still unclear to me. Mueller’s been interviewing WH for quite some time, yet WH is only complaining now.
-
Right. Bc they only found out how Mueller got the emails recently (and/or only realized how exposed to obstruction they are recently). My guess is the Mueller obstruction committee (OGR/HJC) told them.
-
Emm, i’m still not convinced that they did not just recently learn about the emails. They know how he got them is not a problem, which is why they’re making it a political issue not a leagal one. They’re freaked he has them.
-
A big part of why they're complaining is bc the emails include Jared's very incriminating ones (his is probably the 7000 email account). And he's in deep trouble at the moment.
