      there seems to be to be a disconnect between Fox, which is gunning for Mueller to be fired, and the White House itself, which is wobbling between discrediting the results of the investigation & insisting said investigation is almost over

      anyway, I think most people worried over Trump firing Mueller are responding more to Fox than to any signals from Trump specifically

      Congress too. Congress may have a mistaken belief that they'll be able to shelter Trump and turn around his approval before midterms.

          People are taking their triggers from Congress, as well as Fox. Tho one interesting detail there is the loudest people in Congress were hanging w/Trump on AF1.
