I'm confused. Did Mueller's team ever send a document request to transition team? I thought they were saying they never did and that Mueller just got the emails from GSA.

Yes it does mention Congress did. So you think someone told them McFarland lied and bc they withheld that email to Congress that's why Mueller's team went directly to GSA?

When you say didn’t turn them over you are assuming KT or one of the others has been asked to voluntarily provide the emails? Or are you think the special counsel also asked the transition and they excluded emails

The latter. That's not entirely clear from the reporting thus far, but I think Transition turned over emails, then Mueller got his own set.

IOW the transition team's lawyer by holding some back drew attention to the ones they didn't want Team Mueller to see. Our next ex-pres only hires the best incompetent lawyers.
