Trump has been a CI problem for 15 years at least. There's a decent chance Strzok is aware of Felix Sater's serial service as an FBI informant targeting CI problems.

Maybe. But Strzok's early texts seemed more like a disdain for him as a person rather than as a natsec threat. Granted, it's a fool's errand to try to interpret his mindset based on the texts, but it's all we have right now

I agree there's cause to be concerned, tho question how concerned we should get from out of context texts. But I've talked to former Feebs far more remote than Strzok would be who've raised the years that FBI has been sniffing around Trump corruption.
