Next time someone asks Trump if he'll pardon Flynn can you also note that if Flynn cooperates really well, he's not going to the pokey?

The big mistake the Trump cover-up made was when Kushner testified and did not say the things that could have exonerated Flynn. Oops. You go to cover-ups with the dumb family members you have, not the ones you might need to survive.

Trump pardoning Flynn has to be more complicated than we think. Mueller almost certainly has evidence of higher crimes, is Trump just going to keep pardoning him over and over? What about Flynn, Jr, him too?
-
No. It's not. That's part of my point why it's moot at this point.
-
I meant "complicated" in the sense that people are fretting "if Trump pardons Flynn, it's all over", which is just nonsense. Same with Manafort, especially considering he misstated income to several state revenue depts.

You're saying Mike Jr. is far more vile than dad? His opinions may be. But do you think he had any impact? Or who do you mean by spawn?
-
Sorry. Meant Trump's spawn, not Flynn's.
-
Oh, of course.

He would have to pardon him a second time after testifying (can’t plead 5th after pardon). Can’t lie or it’s another crime.

I think signaling to a cooperating witness that you might pardon him amounts to obstruction; changes calculus in Flynn's mind on whether to even cooperate
