SCOTUS gutted the Voting Rights Act claiming that the South "has changed." They should have been at the Selma precinct where I did voter protection work today.

Heard from MI voters who were suppressed by threat of Trump poll watchers and complained of too "helpful" poll workers casting votes for them. AL threat of arrest on warrants, empty polling places, cross check invalid voters, and SOS appeal of order to keep paper ballots.

Don't forget, AL outright flipped over 6,000 votes from a D to an R in the 2002 gubernatorial race overnight, changing the outcome, and after the D was already declared a winner. Besides voter suppression, they have a history of ratfucking, too.
