I think it is not BS that the first round of interviews is done (tho reporting on Kushner interview said he might be brought in again). I think there are a few shoes that will drop and change perspective.

Agree on the interviews part. But what about the other claim -- that the investigation wraps in a few weeks? That would cut against so many theories of the case, no?

I just assume this whole bogus timeline is all about laying predicate for firing Mueller. "This investigation, which was supposed to be over by Christmas, has gone on too long..."

True, except for a lot of House R's, "going after" things -- whatever they are -- scores political points. Easier and better ROI than actually legislating.

There's a status hearing for Flynn on February 1, but no sentencing date. I think that tells you what you need to know abt whether this is going to be over by Christmas.
