For anyone who hasn't yet read the Steele Dossier in it's entirety, please do so. It's amazing how much has been corroborated and how much it explains the way Trump has been behaving these past several months.https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/3259984-Trump-Intelligence-Allegations.html …
Actually, according to some versions (incl Rachel's), no. Bc according to those, McCain got the dossier on 12/9. The dossier we have dates 12/13, so MUST be a later version.

According to the testimony, Steele showed but did not provide copies to David Kramer (on behalf of McCain) at the one-on-one meeting on 12/9.

It is inconsistent on precisely this point. And McCain's got really vague after the dossier, dated 12/13, came out. It is virtually certain some less-than-full- truths were told in court depositions, incidentally.

What’s inconsistent about it? After that meeting, Steele decided to provide the memoranda or the “dossier” to McCain. He even says he gave them the December memorandum.pic.twitter.com/R8mWhQDvyh

Yes, as I JUST SAID the declarations don't match the claims made before it became clear that the dossier was released as is. Original reports said McCain got and gave on 12/9. Only after dossier came out did he change story.

Here's just one of many inconsistencies, noted in real time. https://www.emptywheel.net/2017/01/16/the-significance-of-the-december-13-trump-dossier-report/ …
