That's unfortunate bc we rely on HPSCI to do very important heavy lifting on overseeing IC. We've seen similarly shoddy oversight on Snowden report, and really basic details of 702 that members get wrong. SSCI is nowhere near this bad. But HPSCI? Bad. Not working.

-
It could be a false flag. But cmon. Nunes isn't that smart. Gowdy maybe?

Is false flag from lawyers representing Trump campaign people not a possibility?

In this rare instance I really don’t find the idea of a misread or typo to be beyond the realm of possibility - 4 and 14 are obviously very similar & only a keystroke difference. But malicious or unintentional error not at all unbelievable, either.
-
When the date is key to the content a misread or typo is inexcusable.

Ironically, CNN's error was mostly not being enough like wikileaks. If they'd pushed their source to reveal the actual email, so that they could publish it, then they would've avoided all this, but instead they blindly parroted claims by government sources.
