Honest question: Why do people think Mueller would consider Don Jr. (and maybe even Jared Kushner) ahead of the *National Security Advisor* in the food chain? (1/2)

I was only at DOJ as a lawyer doing civil work (antitrust), but I guess my question is whether Mueller would rely on Trump's POV (which you desrcibe correctly) or a more normal org-chart based one. I honestly think the latter & thus Flynn deal is about POTUS, full-stop.
I think he does a few things to make pardons much harder, takes out the spawn, and then waits to see if Pence will pardon.
