Maybe that’s the confusion. It sounded earlier like you were a bit of an apologist w/ your “leaflet” reply. Like someone who doesn’t think we do anything more covert than that. So she gave you an example. That’s all.

Yes it’s absurd. But it sounded like you also weren’t aware we’ve stolen and published emails in another incident a few years ago. That’s a different point to argue. I wasn’t aware of that either.

Seems like she was making certain assumptions about me that are simply unfounded. And instead of commenting on the subject at hand, brought up a total red herring. Wacky.

Pretty much. She's a nasty piece of work. The request was quite reasonable and she was rude.
