She said we (US) doesn’t always respect sovereignty either and it’s hypocritical to pretend otherwise. That’s all. Nothing about what is or isn’t justified. Again, I’m taking this in the context of seeing her other tweets over a period of time.

Maybe that’s the confusion. It sounded earlier like you were a bit of an apologist w/ your “leaflet” reply. Like someone who doesn’t think we do anything more covert than that. So she gave you an example. That’s all.

That’s not at all what I was suggesting. My leaflets comment was a reference to the Dutch canvassers.

Yes it’s absurd. But it sounded like you also weren’t aware we’ve stolen and published emails in another incident a few years ago. That’s a different point to argue. I wasn’t aware of that either.

What difference does it make if I was unaware of that story? I wasn't in the middle of defending the US. We were talking about Russians vs. Dutch canvassers. Then she changed the subject for reasons I still find mysterious.
