Abundant tweets about civil liberties & national security. "Has a longer memory than an elephant & keeps more records than Jim Comey.” Legendary potty mouth.

More seriously, Eugene flags his company’s 2016 discovery of “Project Sauron” malware as potentially being behind his company’s rough ride in the US media. https://securelist.com/publications/75533/faq-the-projectsauron-apt …
Eugene claims that negative press tends to follow significant Kaspersky discoveries: Flame, Stuxnet, etc. He speculated that his company must have recently done “something that made someone very, very disappointed.”
Any questions for Eugene you’d like me to ask?
Kaspersky shrugged off USG ban - “we have almost zero contracts” with USG, he notes - but says that the media “noise” was hurting. North America revenue projected to fall 5 to 8 percent.
Now Eugene asks the audience a question, tells journalists that if they find out who’s behind the whispering campaign against him “please tell me. I am very very curious of the reasons for this attack.”

What does "Wikileaks published much more" even mean.
Which, given the whole "stolen docs off Kaspersky scan" focus is interesting he'd even call attention to that.
