how are any of those "errors" in my post? the facts you dispute were reported by someone else.
-
They were? I think you misread the NYT piece. In any case you wouldn't be looking for a third, you'd be looking for a fourth.

2) The NYT story he links discusses 3 KNOWN NSA investigations: Winner, Martin, and the guy who got tools IDed via Kaspersky.
@nakashimae has IDed the last guy as Vietnamese-American. -
3) NYT story says its sources didn't know whether TSB was NSA insider or not. So no reason to believe he'd be IDed in the files that TSB released.
-
I'm not talking about who exactly leaked the stuff TSB got. I'm just pointing out that the NSA has too damn many leakers - intentional or not. Snowden, Winner, the Spiegel leaker (intentional), Martin, the Office pirate, Vietnamese guy (maybe same), 3 guys from Brian's article...
-
And I'm pointing out there's no evidence the three guys from Brian's article ARE leakers. They were doxed by TSB, is all. Why are we beating up people that TSB dicked over?
-
But I otherwise agree, yeah, way too many leakers (tho Spiegel source may be theft, not leak).
-
Here's a post I did, oh, seven months ago on why RU might want to dox NSA hackers. https://www.emptywheel.net/2017/04/19/the-doxing-of-equation-group-hackers-raises-questions-about-the-legal-role-of-nation-state-hackers/ …
