y'all believe that the russians pulled off an elaborate intelligence operation targeting the 2016 election (true, they did), but yet were incapable of realizing that chris steele was snooping around and feeding him disinfo. why?

It wasn’t that complicated, and Steele stands by his report. Maybe he’s wrong & was fed disinfo, but we don’t know. He is himself a pro.

> "He is himself a pro." So you've worked with him? Do tell.

Former MI6, fluent in Russian. Worked there many years, built up sources. I think that counts as a professional spy.

He was *head* of MI6's Russia desk & lived in Russia for 3 years. He also worked w US intel agents for years. Are you still seriously trying to argue that he was not, in fact, a professional spy? This is just silly of you...

what, though, makes professional spies particularly credible? ever seen a spy get stuff, you know, wrong? like really, really wrong? that has NEVER happened, lol.

yes, they are sometimes wrong and sometimes right, which is exactly why I wrote "we don't know" if the report is mostly disinfo or mostly accurate. Yet.

We do know. Because we know enough about what actually happened to know that the dossier was pointing in totally different directions.

We also know that a source Fusion used was involved in colluding with Trump in a meeting not paid for by the clients they're currently claiming was paid for.
