My original tweet was an attempt to dispel some of the suggestions by people who know better that this is anything but a natural progression: initial discussions, ID of docs, request, then, if unforthcoming, a subpoena. Unlike w/Trump campaign, no hint of latter yet.
The reason it matters, IMO (besides just demanding evidence behind claims) is bc there's way too much breathlessness abt investigation, which doesn't help things IMO.
