The Senate request was narrowly written to go after docs on topics they already knew to exist. Kushner could've had tons of emails with non-listed Russians about, say, sanctions or business deals, and the unless specified subjects came up, not have to produce them.

There were several ways to attack this for Lowell/Kushner. But they have GOP chair cover+feckless process in the Committees. Mueller, on other hand, they have a problem. Could have done it smoother tho.
