Based on Simpson's Congressional testimony. No word from Steele to validate. Seems odd that Steele could acquire freely from sources, but who knows.

I guess I wouldn't find it extraordinary for some to supply info for motives other than money. Just have a hard time seeing political dirt on US candidate fitting with the other

Personally, I wd guess ego. A chance to inform on outrageous trash talking businessman w alleged mafia connections & is known to harass women/girls. Just knowing info would prob be enough to eagerly share/purge. More effective than going to a therapist who must be legally silent.
