Apparently saying "doxing the private social media accounts of someone's family is pretty stalkery" is construed as "attacking" a journalisthttps://twitter.com/ggreenwald/status/930087133246820354 …

But always revealing when Greenwald reminds that his concern for privacy is pretextual and dependent on whether he decides your family deserve it.

Wait. Doesn't that suggest you're saying my piece is dependent? Did you read the actual piece? Bc that's not what it says, at all.

Neither of those two tweets were making claims about your piece or your views.

I agree I didn't say you were attacking Feinberg. But he did link to the piece which is where any arg abt privacy gets made.

OK. But so we're clear, I tweeted in a single reply "publicly outing Comey's kids' private instagram was pretty stalkery" and Greenwald then went on a spiel about how it's "hilariously ironic" of me to "attack" a journalist over "Comey's" privacy.

Yes. And you suggested his concern for privacy is situational. I don't think that's true. I think we both wish surveillance supporters could translate that into (possible) impact on those they care about. If that happened there'd be better balancing, I think.

Greenwald’s concern for privacy is absolutely situational. Did he show any “concern” over the Podesta/DNC hacks? Imagine how concerned he’d be if this were a foreign gov interfering in Brazilian elections https://theintercept.com/2016/10/19/is-disclosure-of-podestas-emails-a-step-too-far-a-conversation-with-naomi-klein/ …pic.twitter.com/uWtjBpjPNH

You seem to have clipped one of the only passages from that interview that doesn't explicitly say Podesta/WL mass dump was a problem. Here's where he ends up:pic.twitter.com/aT1PFtg6jX

Yes, right after blaming the victims he indicates that someone (not him, apparently, given that he never did so) should focus more on the invasion of privacy

You mean after the part where he said everyone needs to start using tech to prevent such things? Powerful and no? Again, you're cherry picking VERY narrowly.
