Odd thing about Trump-Russia stuff is "where is the smoking gun" Q has the causality wrong, i.e. "We are not doing anything about it therefore we must not have the proof yet"

But the reality is we have the proof. The lack of action is for lack of will, not evidence. Which is also why the investigations mostly don't matter in the long run.

We have ~ a dozen now-public independent streams of campaign officials at all levels approaching Russian govt for help on the campaign, discussing Russian interests in return, and also changing their platform to be seemingly irrationally pro-Russia at about the same time

Changing the platform to match what Obama's policy was was irrational? I think there's evidence of cooperation, but weakest claim is the platform one.

It wasn't just the substance of the policy change but the fact that it was the only part of the platform that Trump campaign operatives intervened and forced the outcome they wanted. That was the very odd part.
