(And the Plame affair was kicked off by more stories than just ours. Fun fact: after the Fitzgerald indictment cited it, I was upbraided by Leon Wieseltier for excessive excitement at its impact. I was 25. It seems he was friends with Libby.)

Technically not a yelling - he sent me a tongue-clucking email after I ran into him outside a bookstore on 14th & F NW on Fitzmas afternoon & tried to be go-team-TNR celebrating what I thought he’d consider a team win. One of my many youthful errors at that awful place.
