It's totally the CIA. He's never gotten creative and named a different agency he's supposedly working with, that I've seen. But either he is mentally ill, or he is working with/talking to the CIA about some unknown matter.

Maybe, but I don't think that's what it's about. Gowdy had to clarify he wanted Page to only answer about law enforcement's interest in him with respect to Russia interference. To me, there's an implied "and not whatever subject you just brought up."

It's a little bit further into their exchange beyond what I clipped. It's hard to reconcile, though, how Page could 'learn' that there may be overlap, if CIA was just asking about the exact same thing.

you are right. so some overlapping matter, by non law enforcement agency, page says he's talked to, that gowdy found to be new info.

One thing that miiight explain it is if he was talking to CIA about Buryakov, Sporyshev, and Podobnyy. But if that's the case, I'm fascinated about what the overlap is!
