      We've been a teal pumpkin house for a few years running. Allergy-free candy, glow sticks, party favors/novelties, and juice boxes.

      We put up a sign with a teal pumpkin on it. Caramel apple suckers, Skittles, Starburst, Sour Patch Kids. And non-candy, non-food items too.

      Mostly peanut and tree nut allergy but we wanted to be friendly to other allergies and diabetics too.

      None of the candy is probably great, but they have a choice of that or the non-candy stuff. If it came up more we'd include sugar-free.

      We really don't get a lot of kids (a block off the fancy neighborhood, but even that has big staircases). But glowsticks might be the thing.
