Papadop's role, in theory, is their lane. But FBI got him on perjury & obstruction — not espionage/conspiracy charges.

SSCI couldn't have done anything on that front anyway. (Unless he said the same lies to them, and then they could hold him in contempt.)

The wrench throwing isn't that the indictments derail congressional investigations, so much as push them into uncharted territory.

My understanding, Mueller hasn't asked them to back off anything or anyone. But, should they? What're the rules, or best practices here?

Should Congress be talking to a (likely) cooperating witness? Could that, depending on how it goes, pose problems for Mueller down the road?

Could SSCI, in theory, offer immunity to Manafort on the financial stuff in order to talk to him about Russia stuff? Should they?

Did someone actually raise that? It seems nutjob. Of course Mueller is trying to use financial charges to flip Manafort on RU stuff.
