I think there is so much catering to opinions now that people forget truth exists
I'm willing to consider a context that refutes, though
Does it matter that on this issue we don't know what the truth is and may never learn?

Who are you asking? If it's me, yes, I think opinions are more significant when we are unlikely to get to ground truth.

To me it does. Asking opinions about something unknowable/top secret seems like inviting conspiracy theories. And I want an all fact diet
