I see the distinction. A little sleep deprived tonight :( Though honestly not sure I care whether 702 back door searches are used for evidence in an investigation or identification of a crime. Both are abuses.

Yes, I agree. Hunting for crime with 702 is FAR more disturbing than using it for evidence in an established investigation.
