Read @emptywheel for context on @nytimes story w/ Peskov & Cohen. Pee dossier alleged they were the 2 setting up op. https://mobile.nytimes.com/2017/08/28/us/politics/trump-tower-putin-felix-sater.html?action=click&module=Top%20Stories&pgtype=Homepage …https://twitter.com/emptywheel/status/902261484918636544 …

For sure. The money is most likely the true kompromat. But for me, the hooker part is the easiest to believe.
-
If I were writing him as a character, I'd assume he's done something like that. It just might not be on tape.
-
When Trump denied pee allegations (unprompted), he didn't say, "My god! I'm horrified! How could anyone think that?!" like a normal person
-
Instead he said, "I'm also very much a germaphobe, by the way" as if he'd thought about a technical way out & was pleased he hit on an alibi
-
If I were writing for him in a script, I'd be like, "Oh this dude likes pee. He's pleased cuz he thinks he found a great way to hide it."
-
Trump also had a great non-denial denial re: pee part of dossier. "Does anybody really believe that story?" He never actually denied it.
-
My theory might not hold up in court, but as a writer who is paid to understand & write about human beings, I stand by it.
