Suspect the companies (who of course run Houston) aren't telling of any concerns and no support staff at refineries to help out.

If anything bad IS happening, the companies have a big incentive to bury the story amidst the human catastrophe.

Yep. But some bad things can't be covered over. They had enough time to shut down the refineries safely, so spills are the most likely.

That's prolly right. Tho a few of those refineries at least USED to be decades out of date to specs that pre-date huge climate catastrophe
