Also thinks it's a big deal that Fusion's lawyers said "release the transcript," not realizing that: lawyers.

The point is Grassley was hot to trot to get Simpson to testify but suddenly cool on releasing the transcript

Grassley was hoping to get dirt on Hillary. He wants to pin the dossier on her and say it's all lies.

1) Likely at least some (esp last report, which was offered up for free) was fed to Steele. 2) More likely bc of Fusion ties to Akhmetshin.

Pee tape notwithstanding, last report was by far the most legally damning. So fair to question whether RU disinfo.
-
I also suspect funders are far more damning than Dems want to imagine, based in part on testimony fr lawsuits.

Also didn't we learn Steele revealed the names of his sources to FBI about 6 months ago? Were these people not paying attention?
-
Or that if there were juicy stuff, Fusion's lawyers would NEVER be saying: "release the transcript"
-
Fusion lawyers: How can we make our clients VERY certain we didn't reveal their name? Fusion lawyers: Release the Kraken!!!
