I'd add that while the far right has its own nationalist myths to draw on, it arises in conditions created by stupid neoliberal policies.

Agree 100%. It arose well before that in other circumstances, tho. KKK, John Birch, Father Coughlin all pre-globalism unless I'm mistaken.
