It is my extensive experience that when 1) govt immediately backtracks off claims 2) hides claimed evidence there's reason for it.

Again, this is very basic. I've been reporting on US DOJ for years. There are things to look at in early days of cases to assess strength.

3 of those are 1) immediately moving goalposts 2) conflicting claims FROM DOJ 3) evidence not strong enough for indictment.

That doesn't mean the case is shit. It means those are things that DOJ has a pattern of doing that sometimes indicate weak cases.
