Yes. Per the statement though, they resected it (think they got it all?) and chemo & radiation are probable next steps.

Yeah, my experience with it (dad, in AZ, as it happens) is that it's hard to get "all." He may have remission followed by quick recurrence.

My mother was in mid 30s. Surgery, remission, then it came back.

Wow. Thought my dad was young. Same: Surgery, crazy-ass radiation, chemo, remission, then ugly 5 weeks recurrence.

My dad lasted 8 months. To be fair, he was able to put his life in order. But a hard way to go.
