WaPo has done a very good job of claiming Mitch McConnell was evil for not making a statement that preceded IC attribution last fall.

He wasn't being asked to make attribution. Was being asked to say, "Hey Russia, we know you're attacking our election process. Cut it out!"

Yeah, at that time Harry Reid and
@RonWyden were already making noise about it. So those on the relevant committees knew, right?1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -
A great number of Dems on the relevant committees, starting w/Schiff, have made claims not backed by evidence. They're politicians.

Politicians are human, some good, some bad, so that's not relevant. Schiff and others (including the public) have seen plenty of evidence.

So Schiff has a time machine? https://www.emptywheel.net/2017/03/22/the-temporal-feint-in-adam-schiffs-neat-narrative/ … No. he's engaged in politics, and shouldn't be. No need to get ahead of facts.

Just not sure what quote from Schiff you are referring to. Can you cite? I agree we should all (DJT!) let the real evidence speak for itself

That's Schiff's opening statement from March's RU intelligence hearing. It is linked in the post.
